We have two exciting events coming up.
This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month and you all know what that means...that's right, the 1st Sunday Devotional. This month we will be at the home of Ken and Joann Rabon from 6-8 pm. There will be directions to their house on the Youth & Family Ministry table. Please also sign up to bring a food or drink item to the devotional
Also, as I announced last Sunday morning, we have Waters for Jesus coming up. This will be an amazing time to reach out to our community and get into conversations about Christ. Please sign up at the Y&F Ministry table. This event is for everyone so talk to your friends at church about being involved in what should be an amazing day.
Lift Youth & Family Ministries is a ministry of Murrieta Church of Christ. Lift Youth & Family Ministries exists to develop passionate students and families for Christ. We strive to honor God as He is inspiring us to serve and love others.

Fall Calendar and Events
What a summer!!! I hope that you all had a great summer.
You should all be receiving our new Fall Calendar as well as informational letter by weeks end or the beginning of next week. Let me know how it serves your family. My goal is to be able to adequately communicate with you all so please let me know if that goal is being attained or if I can add to our current communication to better serve your family.
Please make sure to jot down each date in your calendar so that it doesn't sneak up on your family. Some of the events do cost so hopefully your family can budget those events.
Please keep this ministry in your prayers. God has been blessing our group and we want to continue to come to His throne room and pray that His will is done in this ministry.

Fresh Off The Press!!!
Hey Everyone,
We have had a great start to our summer. God has been blessing all of our events. We have been praying that God will do some amazing things through all the events and trips we have going on this summer and we will trust in that. Thank you all for being involved with what we have going on this summer.
We need your help!!
We have quite a few events coming up that we need help with. Next week, we have our annual Six Flags trip. We need chaperone's for the trip. You would be driving there and back as well as hanging out with our kids and loving on them. It is an awesome time to reach out to our teens. Let me know ASAP if you can chaperone.
High Tides, our weekly beach trip, starts next Thursday. We will meet at the church at 1 PM and return at 10 PM. Please let us know if your child will be attending so we can have a way for him/her to get there. The church will provide the food and we ask that the teens bring any gear they need for the beach. We will be hanging out, playing games, and having a devotional with other churches around southern California. It will be an amazing time. We need drivers also. Please consider if you can serve in this way.
In a week in a half we are sending 3 of our teens to serve at YouthWAVE in Portland. We need your help. God can do amazing things through all the teens going but it is so important that these teens are immersed in prayer. So please pray for them. They will be gone from July 12-19.
Teen Camp is quickly approaching and we don't have many registration forms in yet. Please get them in pronto. If you are having issues with the registration fees, please contact me. We will do whatever we can to get your child or children there. We also need drivers to take the teens to camp and to pick the teens up from camp. Please let me know how you can serve as soon as you can.
Finally, please keep our group in your prayers. God has amazing things in store for all of these teens.

News Flash and Upcoming Events!!
The Summer Kick-Off Party was a huge success. We had nearly 30 people there and all had a great time eating, hanging out, and playing games. The worship and prayer time at the end of the night was great. A couple guys even had a Man vs. Wild moment and jumped into the freezing waters of the Bates pool. A big thanks goes out to Shon & Lisa Bates for opening up their house again this year for our party.
Please get in Teen Camp forms by this Sunday to save $50. That is nearly enough money to buy half a tank of gas. Go to the teen camp website, which is on the side bar of this page, and print out a registration form then bring it by the church.
Don't forget that our Senior Graduation Party is this Sunday. It starts at 6:00 PM. Please bring a BBQ dish to share. It will be a great time to honor our high school seniors.
Summer is only a few weeks away and we hope you are planning on attending as many events as possible.

This Sunday is our annual Summer Kick-Off Party at Shon & Lisa Bates House. This will take place of our 1st Sunday Devo. We will be having a great time swimming and eating then end the night with a devotional. We hope that your family will be able to make it. There are sign-up sheets in the lobby with what you can bring.

- Indiana Jones Lock-In May 23-24 8:00PM-8:00AM
- Get Teen Camp registration in pronto to save $50
- Hopefully, your family will be able to plan your summer vacations around the events that we have at the church so that your family or children can attend.
- Senior Grad Luau is coming up June 8th 6:00PM

News and Upcoming Events
Thank you to all the mothers and daughters who were involved with the brunch on Saturday. I hear that everyone had a great time together.
Remember, its time to start getting in your forms for Teen Camp and YouthWAVE. If your child wants to attend YouthWAVE, please let me know. We need to work with you on the fundraising process. For Teen Camp registration, just give them to me. You save $50 if you get the registration forms in by June 6th. If you family needs help with the registration costs, please shoot me an email or call.

We are still in need of a few more chaperones for the Lock-In. Your help would be much appreciated. Please let me know if you can help that night. We need some adults who can help organize the food and help run some of the games during the night. Thanks for your consideration.

Parent Meeting last Sunday
Hey Everyone,
A big thanks to all of those who attended the Parent Meeting this past Sunday. For those who didn't make the meeting, below is a summary of what we talked about. There is info on the table in the lobby as well. Remember, we need your help! Look at the summer events and see how you can help out. We need lots of volunteers for all of the things that are going on during the summer. Check your schedules and see how you can help out.
